We absolutely love our sun shades, they have made our back deck inhabitable. The customer service is beyond compare as well. I wasn't sure what the best product would be for my projects so I reached out and they were able to make suggestions and help with the creation of all 3 of my custom sunshades over the years. Ordered this for my 10x 10 pergolaThis does not have the poles at each end but I just want to note how happy I am with this purchase! We had a major wind event here 2 days ago and it stayed in place!!! The ties are no more than shoelace thickness but surprisingly they are holding up well so far!The previous pergola canopies I had had the poles and there was always an issue with them sliding out of place or banging the metal pergola which was really annoying
We’ve ordered a few of these, last 2-3 yrs but with leaving them up over winter in our cold windy climate they do take a beating.These fit our pergola perfectly, good color selection.

I’ve bought other replacement pergola covers and they didn’t allow enough water run through… The water would collect and we had a habit of keeping a broom nearby to push up the cover and let the water run off. Otherwise, some unlucky person walking underneath might get totally bucketed on their way to the car. It actually happened, by the way. There’s nothing like a ton of water dumped on your head when you least expect it After a few years of putting up with that i searched Amazon for a new cover and decided to get it. So far,so great! The water runs through beautifully and doesn’t collect. It provides perfect shade for our outdoor living space.
We bought this during a time when we were outside doing a lot of yard work in the middle of summer. When we wanted to take a break we tried to sit under our umbrella but that doesn’t provide much shade for 4 adults. Our pergola alone didn’t give us any shade and we found ourselves only sitting under it at night. So we decided to order a cover for it and it cooled off our patio tremendously. It actually gave us a place to sit with some shade and escape the sun. It’s a nice color and it matched the natural wood color of our pergola. You can do this by yourself but having two people is much easier. It’s very sturdy and has withstood many rain storms since installing BUT this is not waterproof. Meaning if you are buying this as a “roof” then you will be disappointed. You will get rained on sitting under this. It’s great for sun shade, not rain so keep that in mind. Overall we are happy with it and plan to keep it up year round.

It is lighter weight than original but does block sun well. Being lighter weight it does flap with a breeze blowing.
