RAW BREATHABLE HDPE SHADE CLOTH — NOT WATERPROOF. This is unfinished shade-cloth material for DIY use. Air and rainwater pass through the knitted mesh.

  • 185+ GSM UV-STABILIZED HDPE: Knitted high-density polyethylene is designed for outdoor shade applications and helps resist tearing and fraying.
  • UP TO 95% UV BLOCKAGE: Helps reduce direct sunlight while maintaining airflow. Actual shade performance varies with lighting and installation.
  • BREATHABLE MESH: Air and rainwater pass through the material, making it suitable for patios, pergolas, gardens, carports, pet areas, and other DIY shade projects.
  • RAW MATERIAL: Edges are unfinished unless otherwise stated. Plan your own hems, grommets, fasteners, and seam allowances for the finished project.
  • CUSTOM SIZES AVAILABLE: Made-to-order dimensions are available for non-standard DIY applications. Color: Mocha Brown.

How to Measure

  • Fabric by the yard: the quantity is the length in yards (1 yard = 36 in.). Measure your project and add extra for hems and seams.
  • Shade cloth and panels: the listed size is the finished size. Measure the area you want to cover.
  • Samples: order swatches to check color and material before a larger order.

Use & Care

Hemmed panels with grommets can be fastened with zip ties, bungee cords, clips, nails or staples. Raw fabric can be cut and sewn to fit your project.

Clean with mild soap and water and let air dry. Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals.

Custom sizes typically ship within 2-4 days on weekdays from our Southern California warehouse, with tracking. For all other locations, please contact us for a shipping quote before ordering. If an order has already been placed, additional shipping charges may apply.

Standard sizes: unused items can be returned within 30 days. Please contact us for approval before shipping a return. Return shipping is paid by the customer, and a restocking fee may apply.
