Fabric does not block much sun, too thin and seems fragile/flimsy. Weighted rods are good design though with eyeholes on the end for tie down, but fabric is a deal breaker.

This material is fairly light. The ends anchor down ok, but in the wind this becomes a parachute collecting wind underneath. This continually blows the middle to one side even though the ends stay tied in place. This might work well in a non-windy environment, but where there is wind, get used to climbing up a ladder each day to move it back into position

The item quality is great. It’s a nice heavyweight fabric for outdoors and the color was perfect. It is definitely long enough to cover the desired area and so far it has met my expectations with one small detail, which is just a personal preference, (the hooks) but I will change the hooks to suit the decor.
