INSTALL WITH SUFFICIENT SLOPE FOR DRAINAGE. Waterproof shade sails should not be installed flat where rainwater can collect.
- WATERPROOF OUTDOOR SHADE SAIL: Made from 160 GSM UV-treated polyester with a PU coating to provide shade and rain protection when installed correctly.
- CURVED-EDGE DESIGN: Curved sides help distribute tension across the sail and reduce sagging when the sail is properly installed and tensioned.
- REINFORCED CORNERS: Closed welded stainless-steel rings and reinforced stitching create strong attachment points for compatible shade-sail hardware.
- SUN & RAIN PROTECTION: Provides solid coverage for patios, pools, decks, yards, and other outdoor spaces while adding color and shade.
- IMPORTANT DRAINAGE REQUIREMENT: Install with enough slope so rainwater can run off. Re-check tension and drainage after installation and after significant weather.
- CUSTOM SIZES AVAILABLE: Additional sizes and colors may be available for different outdoor layouts and attachment-point spacing.
How to Measure
How to Measure
The listed size is the finished sail, not the distance between your posts.
- Mark your fixing points (posts, walls, eaves) and measure point to point.
- Leave room for tensioning hardware at every corner: choose a sail 12" to 24" shorter on each side than the distance between your fixing points.
- Rectangles/squares are listed as Length x Width; triangles list all three sides.
- Plan the slope: the sail must be installed at an angle so rain runs off. Water pooling on a flat sail can stretch and damage it.

Installation
Installation
- Use strong fixing points such as set posts or solid structures that can handle wind load.
- Attach hardware (pad eyes, turnbuckles, snap hooks) at each corner.
- Install on a slope: set one or two corners lower than the others so water runs off.
- Tension evenly until the sail is taut with no sagging areas.
Water management: waterproof fabric doesn't let rain through. A flat or loose sail collects water, and the weight can stretch or tear it. Keep it tight and sloped, and remove water promptly if it pools. Take the sail down before storms, heavy rain, high winds or snow.
